2019 Compass – Which Model? | Brady Kilmury CDJR
Here at Brady Kilmury CDJR, we love the uniqueness of every Jeep vehicle, and that includes the 2019 Jeep Compass. The Compass serves as a faithful companion for thousands around the globe and brings out the bold and sporty, yet elegant sides of every one of its owners. What will your 2019 Jeep Compass bring out in you? What are your options with the 2019 Jeep Compass? Let’s look into them. First, a caveat. All 2019 Jeep Compasses (excluding the TrailHawk®) will be able to be bought either an FWD system or a 4×4 system. Now – let’s get into it.

The Compass Sport – This model is the perfect match for someone wanting a Jeep, but is perfectly fine without all of the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive models feature. However, do not be fooled – the 2019 Jeep Compass Sport has plenty of luxury and sophistication to go around. Let’s start by looking under the hood. You’ll have a 2.4L I4 M-Air Engine and a 6-Speed Manual Transmission, through Automatic is optional. You’ll be equipped with Jeep’s UConnect® 4 with a 7-Inch Display, 16-Inch x 6.5-Inch Styled Black Steel Wheels. Inside, you’ll have cloth, low-back bucket-style seating, and a Dual-Zone Climate Control, and a ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera.

The Compass Latitude – This model steps up one notch, and depending on the model you choose, you’ll have the choice between two different transmissions. Both the FWD and 4×4 models come with the 2.4L I4 M-Air Engine, but the FWD will feature Jeep’s 6-Speed Aisin Automatic Transmission, while the 4×4 comes standard with the Manual Transmission. You’ll still have the UConnect® 4 with a 7-Inch Display, but you’ll sport bigger wheels, 17-Inch x 7-Inch Silver Painted Aluminum Wheels. The interior comes standard with Premium Cloth / Vinyl Bucket Seats, giving more luxury and elegance to the cabin, a Dual-Zone Climate Control, and the same safety features, including the ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera, as the Sport.

The Compass Altitude – Stepping up another notch, the Altitude gives you the choice between its 6-Speed Aisin Automatic Transmission with the FWD model, or the 9-Speed Automatic with the 4×4 system. You’ll sport 18-Inch x 7-Inch Black Aluminum Wheels, the 2.4L I4 M-Air Engine, and a plentiful exterior color palette. Inside, you’ll have the Premium Cloth / Vinyl Bucket-style seating and the same safety features as the previous models.

The Compass Limited – A 2.4L I4 M-Air Engine with either the 6-Speed Aisin Automatic or the 9-Speed Automatic, depending on the FWD and 4×4, respectively. Here is where the Limited lets itself apart. On the exterior, you’ll have 18-Inch x 7-Inch Polished Gray Pocket Aluminum Wheels, and on the interior, you’ll get leather-wrapped, bucket-style seating and much more added luxury, including your UConnect® 4 with its 8.4-Inch Display screen. And just like every other model, you’ll have the same features regarding safety. Jeep wants you to feel safe in your Compass, no matter the model and prioritizes safety as the thread the connects all of these models together.

Finally, the Compass TrailHawk®. This model is for the most adventurous. Only available in 4×4 with its 2.4L I4 M-Air Engine, 9-Speed Automatic Transmission, and 17-Inch x 6.5-Inch Painted / Bright Aluminum Wheels. Inside you’ll have Premium Cloth / Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats, the 8.4-Inch Display screen from your UConnect® 4 system, and much more. This model deserves the backroads and the roads less taken.
