Dodge Muscle Vs. The Competition | Brady Kilmury CDJR
So you’ve been wondering – how do Dodge’s muscle cars compare to some of the most well-known and popular muscle cars on the market? There are many other muscle cars on the market, so what makes Dodge so special? Here at Brady Kilmury CDJR in Bessemer, AL, we stand behind our Dodge muscle cars as some of the most thrilling and hair-rasing muscle cars you’ll find anywhere – not to mention, they blow away the competition in the process. So, you don’t believe us? Let us take you through a walkthrough of the Dodge muscle cars and let’s let the facts speak for themselves. Just one simple word of warning: Buckle up and get ready for a wild ride.

Dodge Muscle – Hellcat

Our first stop – the Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat. This Hellcat has some magical ability to conjure up some type of dark, otherworldly force that has not been seen in a production car. Just think of this – the Hellcat delivers a mind-boggling 707 horsepower while containing a whopping 650 pound-feet of torque from its best-in-class V8 engine. There’s no questioning the verdict Dodge came to when it crowned this model with the moniker of “the most powerful sedan ever”. But staying true to our aim – let’s let the facts speak for themselves. How do these numbers compare with some of the most respected and capable muscle cars available today? First, let’s consider the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350®. With 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque, this is only a scratch on the surface when compared the Hellcat’s performance capabilities. Let’s even take it up another notch with another very well respected muscle car, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This solid muscle car delivers and even 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. We’re getting close, but no cigar. Now, what about some of the other muscle cars that deliver astronomically high amounts of horsepower? There are three that come close, but still can’t duplicate Dodge’s mysterious power: the Cadillac CTS-V (640 HP), the Audi RS-7 (605 HP), and the BMW M6 (600 HP) There’s a reason they dubbed this the “Hellcat”.

Dodge Muscle – Demon

Speaking of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350® and the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, let’s see how they compare when placed against our next exhibit – the Dodge Challenger SRT® Demon. A closely -related car to the Hellcat, both of these cars share the same mystery that lies underneath the hood. The Demon is equally just as startling as much as its kin, boasting the world’s fastest quarter mile in a production car – ever – at 9.65 seconds! And when we say “ever”, we mean EVER! So, just how fast are the Mustang Shelby GT350® and the ZL1 in comparison? The Shelby clocks in at 12.5 seconds, and the ZL1 just in front of it at 11.7 seconds. At 9.65 seconds, the Demon completely smokes the competition and leaves them in the dust. Many have contested the Hellcat and the Demon, but none have been able to conquer them.
